How to Replace a Commercial Driver's License (CDL) in Wyoming

If your Wyoming commercial driver's license (CDL) is lost, stolen, or destroyed, you can apply for a replacement license. While not required by Wyoming law, it is a good idea to notify your local police department if you believe your CDL has been stolen.

APPLYING FOR A DUPLICATE CDL

  1. Visit your local Examination Station in person in order to apply for a replacement CDL.
  2. Complete a vision statement and the vision screening.
  3. You must present two valid forms of identification and your social security number.
  4. Submit the replacement fee of $20.
  5. If your current CDL is damaged, you must surrender it at the Examination Station when you apply for a replacement.
