How to Replace a Commercial Driver's License (CDL) in Missouri
If your Missouri commercial driver's license (CDL) is lost, stolen, or destroyed, you can apply for a replacement license. While not required by Missouri law, it is a good idea to notify your local police department if you believe your CDL has been stolen.
APPLYING FOR A DUPLICATE CDL
- You will need to visit your local MVDL Office in person in order to apply for a replacement CDL.
- You must present a valid form of proof.
- Submit the replacement fee of $22.50 for a three year replacement license and $25 for a six year replacement license.
- If your lost/stolen CDL was due to expire within 6 months, you may also choose to renew your CDL instead of applying for a duplicate/replacement CDL.
- If your current CDL is damaged, you must surrender it at the MVDL Office when you apply for a replacement.
