How to Replace a Commercial Driver's License (CDL) in Nevada

If your Nevada commercial driver's license (CDL) is lost, stolen, or destroyed, you can apply for a replacement license. While not required by Nevada law, it is a good idea to notify your local police department if you believe your CDL has been stolen.

APPLYING FOR A DUPLICATE CDL

  1. You will need to visit your local DMV Full Service Office in person in order to apply for a replacement CDL.
  2. You must present two valid forms of identification and a Nevada address proof and your social security card.
  3. Submit the replacement fee of $21.25.
  4. If your current CDL is damaged, you must surrender it at the DMV Full Service Office when you apply for a replacement.
