CDL renewalin Illinois is not currently available online, however, the Secretary of State Facility offers the option of making an appointment to renew commercial driving license at one of the 47 CDL authorized facilities across the state. The online appointment is charged with a $60 fee.

You must allow 48 hours to pass in order to be able to find your appointment online. If you fail the test, you may not reschedule for at least 48 hours. At the time of the actual skills test,CDL license applicants must bring a representative vehicle of the proper class to take the test.
