APPOINTMENTS AND SCHEDULING

Visit OMV locations to schedule your vision, knowledge and road tests. You may contact Third Party Skill Testers to schedule road tests for commercial licenses.

TYPES OF LOCATIONS

• OMV Offices handle all issues concerning titles, registration, licenses, commercial licenses, non-driver IDs, permits and more. You can also schedule your vision, knowledge and road tests here, though road tests for commercial licenses may also be held at third-party skills testing sites . Motor Vehicle offices are open Monday-Friday, 8:00 am-4:00 pm with some offices open on fewer days, except for legal holidays.
• CDL Issuance Motor Vehicle Offices conduct road tests for commercial licenses. These offices are open Monday-Friday, 8:00 am-4:00 pm, except for legal holidays. However, road tests are offered by different offices at different times. Please verify the hours at your preferred Office before visiting in person.
• Third Party Skill Testers are authorized to conduct road tests for commercial licenses. Different Test Sites operate at different hours. Please verify the hours at your preferred Test Site and make an appointment before visiting in person.
• OMV Mobile Customer Service Centers handle titles, registration, non-driver IDs, license renewals, and more. Click here to check mobile center schedules.
• Motor Vehicle Inspection Stations are available for vehicle inspections. Operating hours for MVI Stations are generally Monday-Friday 8:00 am-5:00 pm, except for legal holidays. Please verify the hours at your preferred MVI Station before visiting in person.
