This place absolutely sucks. Nothing but people who wish they actually had real jobs. 4 people doing a job 1 person can do. Lady with red hair avoid at all costs, way to stupid to put into words. The place is a dump, the people there are dump, there families I assume are dump and their lives are dump. It's like they actually enjoy making your day as bad as can be. If you leave here with a smile then you did something wrong. Never going again and to the people that work there, know people who work there or want to work there GO SCREW YOURSELF LOSER GET A JOB

I had a good experience at the Department of Motor Vehicle Center. The change that they made a few years ago works great. When you walk in, there is a help desk that will give you the proper form(s) to fill out and tell you what line to go to. Yes, it was a bit crowed, but the staff was very competent and getting my commercial drivers license converted to a regular drivers license took about a half hour from start to finish. On my prior visit a few months prior, the person at the help desk told me that I was okay with my car title and did not have to do anything else. Total time in the agency was 2 minutes.

This DMV is horrible. I called in advance about getting a driver's license, and the person on the phone gave me information that contradicted what another worker told me when I went to the DMV, and I essentially wasted a trip. The workers were rude, slow, stupid, and some could barely speak english. I waited in a line with only 3 people for about 20 minutes, because nobody was attending to us. The entire experience was extremely frustrating.

I went to get my license renewed and everyone that I encountered (4 different people) at the Wayne DMV was rude, miserable, no personality and mean. No one even looked at me when they were dealing with me. This is a job where most of their job is interacting with people and they do an awful job at it. They need to take an extensive training course on how to interact with people. In this economy they should be happy to have a job and if they are that miserable then they should look for another job.

The Wayne DMV is horrendous. No matter if you're there for renewal or just getting your permit. Everything about it is sluggish and the workers are rude.

The folks at the Wayne facility need to rethink their processes. I waited two afternoons and never even got through the door. There are two lines outside the deteriorating building, one for license renewal, one for registration renewal. Neither line has a sign so everyone justs asks another person in line. Most people say "I think it's for license renewal but I'm not sure." There is a security guard who is stationed at the front door, letting everyone (it seems) in except those waiting in the two lines. The information that I got from the MVC staff at 3:00 pm was that the room seated 100 people and there were 33 people left in the room. They wanted to clear out the room and then let people in. As there was about 20 people in front of me, I thought I'd get in. Not a chance. Another staff person came out an hour later and said there was 66 people in the room and that they didn't think they would get to us. Most people stayed in line on the off chance that they would get in but no one else did (from the lines). Many people with suspended licenses, return of license plates, etc. were able to walk in before anyone from the lines could get in. Very unfair. Someone said that this was his fourth time trying to get in and he was denied that day too. I went on June 1st and June 22nd at 3:00pm (the office closes at 4:30pm). It is my opinion that it should not take that long. People take off from work, wait outside in all kinds of weather and have to stand (unless they bring a chair). The outside of the facility looks terrible, peeling paint, rusting overhangs, grass trampled, garbage strewn all around. Note: even though the hours/staff/facilities were cut, taxes have not been reduced.
