As always something about the DMV makes you nervous. I had the best experience I've ever had because assisting me was examiner Smure. She was so kind to me and made me feel at ease. The world needs more people like her working in the public. I can't thank her enough for being so kind and helpful!!!

Examiner Lee was nice and professional. She explained to me that I could renew my driver's license online and provided me the website ( She stayed on the line and walked me through the first few prompts. With her assistance I was able to complete my renewal in a few minutes. Thank you Examiner Lee!

Don't understand why the women on staff have to be stereotypically nasty. Go to Statesville, they are so nice & you can even make appointments.

US Passport is not a valid proof of being US legal resident.

I went to renew my driving permit. I took two proofs of residency, one utility bill for I being a resident of Mooresville, NC and second the US passport to show a legal resident of the US. The lady at the counter simply refused to accept US passport as a proof that I can live the US legally. She insisted that I bring my Naturalization certificate. This is simply ridiculous on two counts. First, this was a renewal, they should have not issued original licence if they really cared about their flawed concern. Secondly, the US passport should be good enough proof that I am legal resident of the USA. After all, it is accepted by the US immigration officers to allow people to enter the USA.

The other thing that really bothered me was, she didn't ask for proof of legal alien residence to people that "look American". I know it is her perogative, but I didn't feel so "different" even at the airport screening.

Took my daughter here to take her road test. The old lady that took her was so nasty to us. When we fist got there & we had to talk with her she was so nasty to us. She most not of liked black people or anyone unless you are white because we are black & white but she was so so nasty to us. We have not met anyone so mean in our lives. I will never go back here again. She did stuff to try & trick my daughter so she wouldn't pass the test & she didn't. She would tell her to roll the window down then she would ask her why did she have it down & my daughter told her that she told her to roll it down. Then she said the lady said roll it up. Then she took her to a road that nobody could do a u trun on even if you have been driving for 20 years because I have been driving that long & I couldn't do it on that road. I hope to never meet anyone like that again in my life. Soon as I get her name I am going to post it! Never go here for road test if you are black.

my friend was white and didn't pass so shut the hell up about the racist thing

I've taken my test here. Typical to play the race card. Of course you can't make a U-Turn on that street, your supposed to make a "K" Turn. Read the manual before taking the test dumbass
