I am sorry so many have had bad experiences. I was just there and the 2 employees I interacted with couldn't have been nicer. I didn't get the employees name but she was on window 1. She was very sweet and interactive. I was renewing my license and I was in and out in literally 10 minutes.

These people are so rude. Please NEVER go to this rmv. I took a road test there recently and the guy yelled at me constantly and showed many signs of him needing a lot of power and he basically wanted me to suck up to him. Awful horrible people.

A shout out and thumbs up to customer service rep Annmarie for making my son's permit test experience a positive one. For some reason the system was down to take the test which was surprising to learn after waiting our turn and not be forewarned when getting our number. She was very professional as she explained the situation...apologizing for this system shutdown caused by the RMV upgrading the system on a Friday afternoon. Really? What a bizarre situation that she had to deal with and then apologize for it! She encouraged us to stay and wait it out which was good advice since the system ended up reactivating and we took care of the permit test. We need to remember RMV employees are working in a difficult place. Let's all smile more when we're there!

just want to know how long it takes to receive my handicap placard , my doctor sent it in about a month ago

I will be going to the Lowell office from now on, even though Wilmington is closer to me. The absolute rudest employees I've ever seen and dealt with. In any other industry they'd be fired. Save yourself a lot of aggravation and go elsewhere. I agree with all the other people that posted.

Rude people and not knowledgable at ALL. I work for an insurance company and have had multiple people tell me they were turned away for reasons they shouldnt have been. This office needs to wipe out all personel and bring in new hires who have been properly trained.

The people are so rude. I just moved down here from NH for work. I have been to the Wilmington RMV twice, my wife once and we still don't have our vehicles registered! They were rude and felt like they were trying to find reasons to make me come back. Ps as they were telling me I need to come back three separate times I had to listen to the two attendants gossiping the whole time about a coworker. They completely ruined my day each time and added nothing but stress to my already stressful situation. You would think with job security and a pension they would be a little more pleasant to the customers they serve!

the waits are not long but the people are so rude, the woman Corey should not be serving people, she is angry at the world yet she doesnt have a clue what she is doing.... she was so rude, i was so grossed out the ways she treated me.

one of the scariest offices i have walked in in USA, i was served by the woman named Corey she actually made me cry, and ordered me to get out of her face, i went to the receptionist to ask to speak to the manager or supervisor and the receptionist told the manager is at lunch and she didn't know when she will be available, i asked her who would know? she told me " well i don't know" well i waited and i spoke to the manager who handled everything well, i still have night mares from that woman Corey.

May 2013 I tool my wife to get an id card and turn in her license. All the Registry personnel were very courteous and patient with us. Short wait time and comfortable setting.

Wilmington DMV has always been known to have the worse, rudest, miserable staff in MA. To the point where people dread going to that location. I know people that travel to Brockton DMV even though they live much closer to Wilmington. I had a female teller scream at my autistic neice for simply dropping her toy near her window, then the teller took the toy and refused to give it back. I complained but like always nothing happened.Their is also an older teller that is very inappropriate to me and my friend who went in there a couple years ago. He bascially sexually harassed us and then asked when he could see us again. Haven't been back since, now I waste gas traveling to a further dmv location.

It was my first time ever at the rmv in MA and I have never been treated so awfully in my life. As soon as I got to the counter it was rush, rush, rush. I was his very first customer and the rmv had just opened. He was very disrespectful and had no patience what so ever. The teller seemed to make lots of sarcastic remarks thinking he was funny but was just truly pissing me off. I was moving as quickly as I could because I didn't want to make any errors. They must truly hate there life! I Recommend going somewhere else!

I had a really bad experience the other day. All I wanted was to simply get my registration and the guy that was at the desk was extremely rude and opinionated for no reason at all! He was basically talking down on the insurance and me. I had a couple simple questions and he made it seem like they were dumb ones. I will definitely be going to a different location next time despite this being close to where I live.

I walked into the RMV today; 7 months pregnant, trying to register a handicap accessible vehicle for my daughter. I was told I could register my new vehicle with a MVU-33 without selling my old vehicle. Upon calling central office, I discovered I can register my new vehicle with MVU-33 by transferring my plates. The women at counter 11 at 9:30 AM on 9/28/11 was extremelyshort tempered, insenstive, lacking in internal operations knowledge, and otherwise out right rude.

Their staff is just simply too lazy to get that done while you were there.
