Kentucky emissions tests and standards, with contact information and requirements

In Kentucky, a vehicle emissions test is not required for original registrations, as well as for registration renewals.

The U.S Environmental Protection Agency approved Kentucky’s request to end the Vehicle Emissions Testing Program in late 2005. The program had begun in 1999.
