• Driver License Offices handle issues concerning licenses, commercial licenses, non-driver IDs, permits and more. You can also schedule your vision, knowledge and road tests here. Most License Offices are open Monday-Friday, 8:00 am-4:30 pm, or Monday-Friday, 8:00 am-5:00 pm, except for state holidays. Some offices are also open for one day in the week. Please verify the hours and services offered at your preferred office before visiting in person.
• County Tax Offices deal with titles, registration, change of address and more. General hours of operation are Monday-Friday, 8:00 am-5:00 pm, except for state holidays, but timings and days vary from office to office. Please verify the hours at your Tax Office before visiting in person.
• Vehicle Titles and Registration Regional Offices deal with replacement titles, annual permits, title rejection letters and more. General hours of operation are Monday-Friday 8:00 am-5:00 pm, except on state holidays.
• Compliance Locations deal with license reinstatement, driver requests and more. Only the Austin Headquarters Compliance Office deals with Occupational or Restricted Licenses. General hours of operation are Monday-Friday, 8:00 am-5:00 pm, except for state holidays, but timings and days vary from office to office. Please verify the hours at your preferred Compliance Location before visiting in person.
• State Inspection Stations are available for vehicle inspections. Operating hours for State Inspection Stations are Monday-Friday 7:00 am-5:00pm, except for state holidays, but timings and days vary from office to office.
