I have read many different sites and reviews about this registry and the road tests. I think they should be tough and intimating. Your child is being tested on their ability to drive a deadly weapon and if they can not do that then, they shouldn't pass and quite frankly why would you want them to pass your child at that point. They work off of a checklist and if your child can not back up in a straight line or parallel park, that should not be over looked. I pay a lot of money and work hard to pay for my vehicle, not so that your kid that couldn't parallel park can back into and damage my car. This is a privilege, not to be given out to everyone. Everyday you drive and run into someone that makes you think "how does this person have their license????" I am thankful for though road test examiners!

I am a 62 year old woman whose license expired, so I had to take the road test. The examiner, whose name is Warren I'm told, is the most unprofessional, condescending, misogenistic man I have ever met. After beginning the test, I repeated an instruction back to him just to make double check on something. He subsequently screamed at me for "asking too many questions" (keep in mind we were at ONE question, my FIRST, at this point). He treated me like dirt throughout the test, made me very nervous (naturally causing me to screw everything up because of it), and needless to say, failed me, muttering something about "elderly women drivers" under his breath. EXCUSE ME?!?!?!?!? Look jerk, if I fail the test, I do NOT need your additional editorials and insults! About 3 weeks later, I retook the test in Braintree (they were saints in comparison to "Warren"), and am happy to announce that I FINALLY have my drivers' license, thanks in NO part to "Warren", the examiner from HELL.

The male instructor who conducts driving tests in Plymouth is a racist and a bigot. If you are a male, or if you are black, or if you are a foreigner, AVOID the Plymouth Registry of Motor Vehicles at all costs for your driving test. My husband has been driving for 10 years in another country and is legally in the U.S. This guy failed him three times for ridiculous and petty reasons. The last time, he claimed he didn't have two hands on the steering wheel. He only took one off to back up! We went to the Braintree registry and the instructor told us there is no other way to back up except to remove one hand and put it on the right passenger seat so you can fully turn and look backwards. He apologized for the Plymouth inspector for failing him. If you are taking a driving test, go to Braintree!!! The guys there are fair, reasonable, and don't judge you by the color of your skin or because you have an accent!! After our experience here, we've heard other horror stories of the bigot in Plymouth.

I just submitted a report to the Consumer Complaint Agency against him. It cost me $25, but if anything comes out of this, it's worth it.

I took my road test on August 18 at 8am.

WARREN (the examiner) cound not have been more unpleasant or unprofessional. He constantly yelled at me, made me extremely nervous and then failed me where I would have passed with flying colors if this jerk was the slightest bit of a professional.

I later took my test in South Yarmouth and passed, and the examiner, although a little strict, was professional and fair, and I FINALLY passed my driving test. A**holes like Warren need to be fired.

It appears everybody in South Yarmouth, as well as North Adams, Martha's Vineyard and Springfield (places I almost went to take the test due to backups, and despite the distances/difficulties of getting there), know about this guy (just from my mentioning "Plymouth RMV"), and have nothing nice to say about him.

I have also read on other sites (such as yelp.com) that Warren is racist, misogenystic, completely unprofessional and an all around creep.

AVOID taking your road test at the Plymouth location if at all possible!!!!! I plan on writing editorials in local papers about him, and filing a formal complaint to his RMV supervisor, as well as the state representative.

(not afraid to sign), Jeff S. Foss
