I've only been once and it wasn't bad but giving 4 stars because c'mon...people need to run errands on the weekends. Hire more people. There are millions of jobless people that will work weekends.


i find it very interesting that the Danvers RMV is closed for the entire school vacation week!


Worse place ever... Rude employees and terrible service.. that place needs to be shut down


I went to the Danvers RMV office to get a copy of my driver's license something that should have only taken me a few minutes, took me over 3 hours. NOT ACCEPTABLE - Terrible service!!! Three of the clerks left at the same time to take their lunches with the RMV PACKED with people. That should not be allowed, they should only allow one person at a time to go to lunch. Very poor planning by their management. They should have an express service line for simple services such as obtaining a copy of a driver's license.


I attempted to renew my license online but the system wouldn't let me. I printed up the documents needed, checked the website for the Danvers RMV (which showed there was no wait for licensing), left work for a while to try to get renewed. When I arrived, there was a gentleman there just notifying people that the system had been down for licensing since Friday at lunch time, (This was Monday at 10:30am) he gave me a list of other RMVs in the "area" (the closest being a half hour drive away). I called into the the RMV call center. It took about 45 minutes for someone to answer, when she did, I explained what was going on and asked if there was a reason I was unable to renew online and if it could be overridden. The operator kept me on the phone without saying anything for an extended amount of time and then informed me that the computer just declined me being able to renew online and nothing can be done besides me going to the branch. Luckily I was able to work while on the phone. No one was able to give a reason that I couldn't renew online and I can't renew in the local branch, my license is going to expire in 3 days and the RMV has proved itself useless once again. I have had nothing but problems since moving to MA with services at the RMV.


VERY INCONVENIENT Should be OPENED on Saturdays...How does someone who WORKS 8-5 Every day and cannot get 'time off' get things done???? Massachusetts is Not for the WORKING individual!


I have been to this RMV several times and the front desk intake is consistently a bad experience. It's like the customers are an unwelcomed bother.


The Wait time is almost always and hour. And the employee are very un-personable. I went in and needed a plate transfer I thought I written the plate number down. The woman asked me for the plate number and I said "Oh its not there?" ( which was more like a statement than a question) and her response was "if it was here do you think i would ask you!" in the rudest tone I have ever had the pleasure of hearing.

Re: Employees are NOT very friendly; or helpful! Acc to the woman in Booth #9, on Sept. 24th,2012, she corrected my address; and assured me that I was "all set". My paper license expired on Oct. 24th,2012. Still haven't received my license. Revere Reg. did the same thing! Sent X2 to an old P.O. Box. Sooo, due to this prob. not being corrected in Revere, I went to Danver's,Mass. Waited almost 2hrs.; and the still haven't got the address straight...Somebody's pretending to be working; or doesn't have computer skills needed to do an effective job. Also tried to call X 2; and after @ 13min. each time, I was still "Waiting for a Rep". Now I have to drive almost 15miles (Round trip) to Danvers again! Totally unacceptable rmvyuck et al. Maybe somebody can check , for Quality Assurance, who was working Booth # 9 on noted date above.(9-24) @ 4P.M. Constructive criticism from a manager might help...ya think?
