DMV staff - kudos!!!! I can see there aren't many praises in past reviews, and I've had my share of bad days at DMV over the years, but I have to say, last week, all three of the people that helped me were friendly, and efficient! A lovely holiday week surprise! Keep up the good work for 2016!

Here's the qualifications for working at Wausau DMV;

You have to be OLD (VERY OLD)

You cannot have a personality (AT ALL);

You have to be NASTY and IGNORANT;

And last,but not least, you have to be uneducated.

Why doesn't the State do something about these idiots? I worked for the Government in PA and they would NEVER put up with these imbeciles. There are so many educated people out there with excellent customer services skill, with personalities by the way, just as myself, who would love to work for the DMV and make the money they make! Get rid of all that "old dried out dead wood" and hire me! I would totally change the environment of that place and make it much more enjoyable for people to come and take of their MV issues! I was so disgusted when I left there today, that it made me want to move right back to PA! They're all belligerent idiots! Also, what's up with the OLD lady with the cast on her arm? In PA, if you work for the government and have any restrictions stopping you from performing your job, they won't allow you come back to work. For God's sake, she a clerk and needs both hands to type. She was slower than molasses and her hand was definitely stopping her from performing her duties. I was the only one sitting there with a number and yet I waited 15 minutes for her to fumble around and type with ONE finger and she used the other hand to constantly cough in it. Then there's the creepy lady who likes to toss your paperwork so it lands on the ground. She did it to me and my son! She needs a RUDE awakening...dear Lord, are you kidding me!

for the past 25 years I have been visiting the Wausau, WI DMV I have noticed the attitudes of almost every DMV customer service person I have had to deal with has had an EXTREMELY poor attitude. It is by far the worst part of my day if I have to go here and be exposed to people who seem to hate their jobs so badly that they feel the need to take it out on every persn who walks up to their counter. Oh yeah the one exception EVERY time is the nice gentleman who takes the god awful photos of you. On that subject- get a better camera and learn to use this day in age there's no excuse to have your face morph into a different shape when it is not like that to begin with. Lastly, Why when I go here do I have to feel afraid I'm going to get barked at. If I ask a question it is because I do not know the answer and am asking so that I DO know. So fed up with this DMV and also the huge woman that is as tall as a 6' 5" man, being a vile shrew at the first service desk where you get your number. RIDICULOUS

Jerks no smile never wanna go there again got yelled at by employee so i walked out the door there terrible if you cando it online just do it online or drive somewheres else

I would not give no rating for the DMV, but I had to to post this. Very rude. My daughter went for her drivers test and she was pretty nervous. Well they didn't help much. Yelling at her the whole time.She came back with tears in her eyes. Every worker there does not have a smile on there face. We are customers. Treat us like you care. If you don't like your job, then get a new one.

If I could, I would give a 0 star rating. People there need to get a personality. Is it that hard and stressful to sit there and input information and get paid very well for it...? If it is, then I would advise to get another job else where! A cashier I dealt with there, short blonde hair, big taller lady, what a B**** with no personality! Don't throw my change in front of me, why don't you hand it to me like a proper person would who works in face to face customer service. I don't understand how their employees get their jobs??
