I just took my written exam.

I just took my written exam. The gentleman at the counter for photos and written tests until 4:00 p.m. today, May 22, 2015 was great. I listened to him as I stood in line. He was courteous and friendly with everyone and clearly put people at their ease. You could watch people relax as he talked with them. Wish I'd gotten his name to pass this comment on to a supervisor.

Worst service ever, in any

Worst service ever, in any state, and I've lived in over 5 states. Sadly, if you're new to California, they'll ignore you and force you to come back for another appointment 4 or 5 times, if you're lucky. Other states, one visit is all that is necessary. This DMV is rude, belligerent, ignorant and proud of it. They are completely incompetent, lack any expected knowledge or expertise for such a privileged position with the State. Human Resources hires the wrong type of people, these are the worst employees, wholly unqualified for their jobs. So expensive for pathetic incompetent service; they're barely qualified for employment at Ronald McD's, shuffling Frys with Flys, and cleaning toilets. And for all this aggravation, they charge ungodly fees, for these rats.

Incompetent staff. Besides

Incompetent staff. Besides that the lady that processed my papers was racist, making racist comments and acting like I was stupid or from other world. I wasn't expecting that from a dmv clerk.
