I can't even get the automated system to give me an alternative time for an appointment. When I tell it which time is good for me, it tells me the system is not available and ends the call.

I arrived to take my drive test about 45 minutes earlier than my appointment. Normally, other DMV's would have told me to either wait in line or come back at about half an hour before the appointment. However, the woman at the reception literally told me to come in 5 minutes before the appointment time. THERE WAS NO ONE IN LINE FOR THE DRIVING TEST. Like really? What kind of retard do you have to be to tell someone to come back later when the lines are empty and they're already on location?! Anyways. I come back later, 5 minutes before the appointment, there's 10 people in the line for the driving test, and another 5 cars already waiting at the driving test line. At this point, I was already angry. Then, once I hand her my permit, ID, license, etc., she just starts dropping it all! Like how the hell are you even working here if you're incapable of holding 10 pieces of paper? She then proceeds to leave her desk for another 10 minutes and gossip with her co-workers, just leaving me there and a whole line already tired of her shit. Van Nuys DMV is literally worse than the Downtown LA DMV, which I never thought could be possible.

Really rude people work here. We wait in line for over an hour only to be disrespected by the workers? Unacceptable!

The workers at this office are extremely rude. The person in front of me was treated rudely and I do not appreciate being treated like crap. Especially after waiting over an hour in line.
