I'm military and new to California. They treated me horribly and I had an appt. at 1 pm. I left there at 4:30!!! They kept giving me ticket after every transaction instead of finishing the total process. I had to wait and was send to the end of line each time!!! My plates are Wyoming plates which in the state of Wyoming is my property, they do not stay on the vehicle. They are still good tags until August., so take the stickers not the plates!! I paid for that property its not the state of California's property. They staff was rude and clueless. I started my day out happy and now I'm upset. After I left I felt violated LOL. Then to top it off they did not give me an option to get military plates!!!!

After waiting almost an hour and watching all persons who were there before me and all who arrived after me receive their number called while my son and I waited, I finally had to get up and quickly let the attendant know we had to leave because my son had to go to work. I POLITELY let the attendant know that we would be back the following day to transfer a title to my son, when the other lady attendant interrupted and asked if I had made an appointment. I said I had not, but didn't think I would have to wait an hour. As I left the desk (with my son), this attendant loudly made the comment to the next customer, "Were you SMART enough to make an appointment, sir?" WOW! I have to go back tomorrow and am truly hoping for an improved level of service. Not to mention, many people were there to test and were allowed to just come back and forth to the desk to finish or ask questions when others were waiting.
