Went to Huntington Station

Went to Huntington Station DMV to renew my license in person. Been driving for 45 years. Offices much better now. No long, long lines or waiting time and you get to
sit down. HOWEVER, NY taxpayers-both small business and personal- don't need to
be treated rudely and condescendingly by clerks. Did not have my form filled out
correctly. Sorry! Directions unclear. End of day. Said she had to pee! In a rush!
Could have just as easily explained the directions to me, politely. Clerks poorly groomed for work. One guy stopped working at 4:20 to slowly organize his post' paperwork, watched the clock so he could quit exactly at 4:30 while all the gals
kept working. NY is a big, prominent state. Our state offices and employees should represent this. Don't have to treat everyone poorly just because it's a rough job dealing with some of the public. While there, only one "customer" was a problem case. Everyone else was polite.
