The ladies in the Sterling office can be so very rude and abrasive. They act like we, the customers, are infringing on their day, when in fact we are the ones "signing" their paychecks. I do not understand how they can continue to be so blasted rude and nothing is ever done about it. If they are so miserable at this job, maybe they should look elsewhere for gainful employment!!

Do not come here ever. Drive to dixon or lanark. The ladies here hate their job and life so much that they make sure your life is pure hell by the time you leave. The negativity that is broadcasted from their snobby mouths will make you realize why everyone hates the dmv. Im in utter disbeleif at how poorley i was treated. It makes you really mad when you realize your tax dollars pays for these people to insult you.

I encountered the same exact thing. Really irritated me when I went to switch my license from Maryland to Illinois. Everything from their attitudes, to throwing my papers at me.
