How to Replace a Lost Vehicle Title in Wyoming
You may apply for a duplicate vehicle title if your original title is lost, stolen, or damaged. A vehicle with a missing title cannot be bought or sold, so owners must apply for and obtain a replacement before they can sell their vehicle.
WHAT TO DO TO APPLY FOR A DUPLICATE/REPLACEMENT TITLE
- Visit your local county clerk office along with your registration certificate and any applicable information regarding your vehicle.
- File an affidavit mentioning the loss.
- There is no state-wide form for a duplicate title and each county has its own version of the form. Some counties provide the form online.

Along with your documents, you must submit a $9 duplicate title fee.SUBMITTING THE APPLICATION
