How to Register a Custom or Antique Vehicle in Wyoming
Like most other motor vehicles, custom-built and antique vehicles must be properly registered and titled in the state of Wyoming. However, the process of registering an antique or custom-built vehicle is the same as registering a regular vehicle if it still has the original VIN- vehicle identification number, issued by the manufacturer. If you have brought an antique or custom-built vehicle into Wyoming for a first time registration, or if you have custom-assembled a vehicle in the State, particularly if the part that has the original VIN is modified or replaced in any manner you will be referred to a County Treasurer/Clerk's Office near you to get a VIN. Only residents of Wyoming can be issued a Wyoming VIN.
