There is no negative stars. I have moved to WI from MN and need to get plates for a car. The title still has lender on it but is payed off. I was in once and informed that I needed a payoff record from the lender. Got it faxed to work and took it in to find out it needs to be faxed to the DMV office. I called the DaMV and they assured me that I can get plates but they would need to mail me the title, great I thought. Back in I go to find out that this is not the case and there is nothing that they cab do so I get to drive illegally some more. The bank had been contacted to fax the record to the DMV but there is no way of knowing when they get it. I will need a fourth trip in now. Thanks alot for your conflicting information, lack of options and lack of caring.
