Reviews of How to Replace a Lost Vehicle Title in New Jersey
Have tried to contact previous owner of car to have them get duplicate title and to no avail. We did everything we could to locate the previous by mail to addresses that were listed on title, online search and calling the phone number for the addresses that we had. We need the title in order to be able to do anything at DMV.
I bought a buick skylark 1993 on March of 09 and my title was stolen and it's hard for me to get a duplicate because i bought the car from cregslist and i dont remember the previous owners name. How can i get help because i cant sell or re-register my vehicle.Thank you
I recently purchased a 1970 buick with New Jersey title.Upon getting home i saw the owner had signed the title in her married name & title is registered in her maiden name.SCDMV will not accept it like that. Can i apply for a damaged title in NJ or will the previous owner have to apply for a damaged title now?
Thanks
I live in New York and purchased a vehicle in New Jersey in 2000. The vehicle was registered in New York. I am trying to re-register the vehicle and was informed by New York DMV that I need a copy of the New Jersey title to do so. Could you please inform me how I can obtain a copy of the title and what information I need to have it issued to me. Thank you very much.
