Reviews of Minnesota Driver and Vehicle Services Locations and Hours
I have a question about a friend of mine being incarcerated in the Morrison County Jail in Little Falls, Mn. I ended up sitting some time with him there and became good friends. So this guy, Jason Dominengaz, is looking at sitting some really hard time. So what does he do since we got along so great, he gives me his car! Soon after I get out of jail, dude (Jason) tells me where I can recover this car. I end up having to go pick, this nice 89' Buick LeSabre Limited (car) at some police car impound lot. But now here's what's got me smashing my head. So if he's in jail looking forward to prison, what steps or actions do I need to take for one to acquire his "title"? Jason's been trying to explain it to me, but I'm still having a hard time following. He lost the original "title" so I have to bring him money on 4/13/12 (this Friday) to pay for the lost "title" and also enough for all the transferring fees. So I just don't know what to do. Btw, I have insurance on the car as well. I would really appreciate someone getting back to me a.s.a.p...!!! Or if there's an easier softer way please let me know. I heard something about a Vehicle Bill of Sale, what's that, and would that work, even if it was just temporary??? -Thanks, Dev.
