I went to the troy location today to renew my handicap permit...I was given a number and told to have a seat...the lady who gave me the number then stood at the counter, waiting for people to come in so she can hand out more numbers...I would of taken her 5 mins to fill out my form and renew my permit...the first time i went there, that is what they did...filled it out right there and didnt make me sit and wait...what i thought was the best part of the visit, is when a co-worker asked her why she made me have a seat for a handicap permit...I dont know what was said after that but the parted ways laughing and thats when i decided to leave...I have back issues and was told to sit and wait...I dont understand what the procedure is for this kind of visit but all i do know is karma will come her way...totally rude people there at this location...

Terrible. Slow. Uninformed. Called ahead to see if additional information would be required. Was told no. My husband is disabled and he was voluntarily giving up his license and needed a state I.D. card. I took off work to get this completed before his license expired. Waited an hour only to find out because he was not yet 65, that we needed to provide "FIVE" pieces of identification before they would issue an I.D. card. Totally ridiculous and a waste of time.
