APPOINTMENTS AND SCHEDULING

Apart from visiting DMV locations to schedule your vision, knowledge and road tests, you may also call their telephone center at (860) 263-5700 for Hartford residents and (800) 842-8222 for others, to schedule your commercial driver's road test only. For all other auto road tests, the test date is given at the time you take the knowledge test. You can also schedule your vehicle's inspection online by clicking here.

TYPES OF LOCATIONS

• DMV offices handle issues concerning titles, registration, licenses, commercial licenses, non-driver IDs, permits and more. You can also schedule your vision, knowledge and road tests here. Most full-service offices are open Monday-Friday, 8:00 am-4:30 pm and Saturday, 8:00 am-12:00 pm, except for legal holidays.
